Lots of people tell me, 'we eat healthily' but they still aren't happy with their bodies and feel like they are doing everything right but somehow it's not working!? Why!

I ate a burger 🍔 last night for my dinner, does that mean I’m not healthy?
I drank 🥂 at the weekend, does that mean I’m not healthy?
I missed a gym session last week does that mean I’m not healthy?
In isolation those things mean almost nothing and context is everything
▶️ 80-90% of my meals 80-90% of the time are minimally processed, lots of veggies 🌽 , lean protein, some fruit 🍇, decent fat balance, sticking to portion size and focus on variety within my food choices. My burger was a homemade chicken fillet burger with fresh salad and homemade cajun fries, it fitted in to my calorie budget.
▶️ I had a couple of drinks in the front garden for VE day 🥂social time is crucial for overall health/wellbeing. I’m not out all the time and in a typical week drink little to nothing at all. Sure, being T-total could be 'better' for me but I'm not going to preach something I don't practice.
▶️ On average I workout 3-4 times a week. At the moment I've got a knee injury and I need to take care of that properly - life happens and that’s ok.
Health is about the whole of you not just your waistline or your steps per day
🥺 Are you happy, do you have positive self talk?
😫 Do have a good relationship with food or do you feel guilty after eating a ‘bad’ meal?
⚖️ Do you have the balance you want between work, friends, relationships, etc.
🤗 Do you look after your physical health, eat well, move about, do you floss, do you get enough sleep etc?
🤯 Do you look after your mental health, do you make time to be kind to you? Do you stop and chill? Are you stressed to the hilt (and maybe don’t even realise it)? Do you have down time from technology? Do you get outside and spend time in nature?
‘Healthy’ is a word we throw around like it has an intrinsic meaning we all understand and say stuff like ‘I’m pretty healthy’...but are we?
